The ambrotype photos are made on glass plates and encased in small wood box. In use 1854 to 1866.

Rose Whelan Margrave

There is very little information on the Whelan sisters. In studying the photos to the right, you will find wedding rings.

The only sister we have knowledge of is Bedelia Ann, she married John Banton and had five or six children. born 1838, died 21 Dec 1871 at age 33. Buried in Bear Valley IOOF cemetery.
